A pair of Flemish/German gilded brass oval dishes, probably late 17th/early 18th Century, both with repoussé decorated reserve panels depicting a man seated within a field, a tree, cottage and sun in the distance, the raised borders decorated with scrolling foliage and flowerheads, inscribed 'C.S.' to lower front edges, approx 36cm x 40cm.
