A rare limited edition 'Fate' pottery wall mask by Doulton & Co, circa 1921, modelled by Richard Garbe as the head of a female, her hair entwined with serpents and surmounted by two kneeling nudes, ivory glazed, impressed and green painted script marks to reverse with title, numbered 42 of 100, height 26cm. Note: this mask is applied to the reverse with a paper label from the Richard Dennis 'Doulton Pottery Exhibition 1975, Part II', numbered '252'. The current owner purchased the mask from Sylvia Powell.
