A green glazed pottery jardiniere designed by Christopher Dresser, late 19th Century, manufactured by Linthorpe or Ault, the ovoid body decorated in relief with three frogs climbing up one side, raised on three frog feet, impressed facsimile signature to base, height approx 16.5cm (minor chips). Note: a very similar 'frog bowl' is illustrated, plate number 188, in 'Christopher Dresser' by Widar Halún, p.166, and described as being from Dresser's personal collection.
