Limited edition, this number 12 of 100 numbered copies signed by and with an original oil painting by Charles Bukowski, 8vo (228 x 149mm.) Oil painting signed 'Buk' tipped-in with wax-paper tissue-guard between dedication and half-title, signed and with author's ink doodle of a man with a bottle to limitation page at rear. (Mild toning.) Original yellow cloth-backed pictorial paper-covered boards, paper label to spine, acetate dust-jacket. Note: Bukowski's most well-loved work, a semi-autobiographical coming-of-age story in depression-era Los Angeles.

Limited edition, this number 129 of 225 numbered copies signed by and with an original silkscreen print by Charles Bukowski, 8vo (229 x 148mm.) Silkscreen print signed 'Buk 92' tipped-in between title and 'Table of Contents', signed by author to limitation page at rear. (Mild toning.) Original red cloth-backed pictorial paper-covered boards, paper label to spine, acetate dust-jacket. - And a further fifteen volumes by Charles Bukowski, seven of them signed and a further volume about Charles Bukowski by Jean-Francois Duval ('Bukowski and the Beats'), and a cassette tape of the author reading his work. Contemporary calf, red morocco lettering piece to the spine (rubbing to extremities). Note: as opposed to dwelling on landscape or topography, Muralt's work was possibly the first to reflect on the English character from a European viewpoint and as such was an influence on Voltaire's 'Lettres Philosophiques'. - And a further four volumes of 18th century French literature (including M. de Fontenelle's 'Lettres Galantes de Monsieur le Chevalier d' Her***', 1701, 8vo) (5).
