A Seiko 'Pogue' Chronograph Automatic stainless steel gentleman's bracelet wristwatch, Ref. 6139-6005, circa June 1974, with signed and jewelled 6139B caliber movement, the signed yellow dial with luminous hour markers, subsidiary dial, day and date apertures and inner rotating bezel, the case with blue and red tachymeter scale bezel, the signed case back detailed '6139-6005' and '463201', the bracelet with signed foldover clasp, case width 4.1cm. Note: the Pogue nickname was coined after NASA astronaut Colonel William Pogue, who wore a Seiko 6139 with yellow dial into space, making it the first automatic chronograph in space. He was part of the Skylab 4 mission, which lasted 84 days between 16th November 1973 and February 8th 1974.
