Wristwatches and Pocket Watches

A collection of eighty white enamelled pocket watch dials, 18th century and later, some signed, including 'E.J. Dent London', 'Arnold Chas Frodsham...', 'William Bent London', 'Kendal & Dent', 'J.W. Benson London', 'Jaqs Moulinier a Geneve', 'Breguet a Paris' and 'Berthoud a Paris', and a Turkish market dial with gilt signature.

Two MoD issue nickel cased keyless wind open faced centre stop seconds thirty minute recording pocket stopwatches, each case back detailed 'H.S.' MoD arrow '7', one numbered '1725', the other '2255', case diameters 5cm and 5.1cm, together with a gilt metal cased keywind open faced gentleman's pocket watch, case diameter 5cm, with two keys.

An Omega Constellation Chronometer Electronic F300Hz stainless steel cased gentleman's wristwatch, circa 1972, the signed and jewelled 1250 caliber movement numbered '34794616', the signed silvered dial with baton hour markers and date aperture, case width 3.7cm, on a leather strap.

An early 19th century gilt fusee pocket watch movement with verge escapement, the backplate signed 'Des Granges Cockspur Street London No. 3371', and a collection of other mostly 19th century pocket watch movements, the majority with enamelled dials, including 'Kendal & Dent', 'Vertex', 'W. Clare Dublin', 'S. Smith & Son Ltd' with subsidiary dials and 'Rolex Extra Prima' (lacking dial), together with fourteen enamelled pocket watch dials, including 'Kendal & Dent' and 'J.W. Benson London'.

A Heuer chrome plated and steel backed gentleman's pilot style 'up and down' chronograph wristwatch, circa 1940s, with unsigned jewelled movement, the black gloss dial with luminous Arabic hour markers and two subsidiary dials at 12 and 6 o'clock and detailed '2Heuer2', the case back interior numbered '104602', case diameter 3.2cm, together with a similar Thuya chrome plated and steel backed gentleman's 'up and down' chronograph wristwatch, case diameter 3.1cm.

A chrome plated base metal cased keyless wind open faced gentleman's Goliath pocket watch, the white enamelled dial with black Arabic hour numerals and subsidiary seconds and detailed '8 Days', case diameter 6.5cm, together with three nickel cased Goliath pocket watches, three nickel cased gentlemen's pocket watches and a travelling watch (some faults).

A Victorian silver cased keywind open faced gentleman's pocket watch with gilt fusee movement, the backplate detailed 'Thos Hayward LIttlehampton 706675', London 1873, case diameter 4.8cm, together with five other silver cased keywind open faced pocket watches, case diameters 5cm and 4.2cm, and an MoD issue keyless wind open faced pocket watch with black dial, the case back detailed 'G.S.T.P M21097', case diameter 5cm.

A .935 silver and enamelled half hunting cased lady's fob watch, the white enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals, the hinged front with pink enamelled band and blue Roman hour numerals, case diameter 3.2cm, together with a silver trench style half hunting cased wristwatch, import mark London 1917, case diameter 3.5cm, a similar silver wristwatch, import mark London 1918, case diameter 3.4cm, and a silver and enamelled lady's fob watch, the back enamelled with a red cross, import mark London 1908, case diameter 3.4cm.

A Lanco chronograph gilt metal fronted and steel backed gentleman's wristwatch with unsigned jewelled movement, the signed silvered dial with gilt hour markers and two subsidiary dials, case diameter 3.4cm, together with a Vertex stainless steel octagonal cased gentleman's wristwatch, case width 2.8cm, and a chrome cased rectangular digital display gentleman's wristwatch with unsigned jewelled movement, the panelled case with hour, minutes and seconds apertures, case width 2.3cm.

A Seiko Chronograph Automatic stainless steel gentleman's bracelet wristwatch, Ref. 6139-6002, circa May 1977, with signed and jewelled 6139B caliber movement, the signed silvered dial with subsidiary dial and day and date apertures, the case with blue and red tachymeter scale bezel, the signed case back detailed '6139-6002' and numbered '758549', the tapered bracelet with foldover clasp, case width 4.1cm.

A large collection of pocket watch cases, movements and dials, including numerous Waltham examples and four Hebdomas patent movements, together with various wristwatch cases and movements and other watch parts, all housed within an oak four drawer chest enclosed by a pair of panelled doors, height 36cm, width 56cm.

A Seiko Chronograph 100M gilt metal gentleman's bracelet wristwatch with quartz movement, the signed gilt dial with three subsidiary dials and date aperture, the bracelet with foldover clasp, case diameter 4.4cm, cased, together with a Seiko Premier gilt metal cased gentleman's wristwatch, case diameter 4.1cm, on a signed black leather strap, cased with guarantee card and instruction booklet.

A Technotempo Worldwide Time Automatic black finished stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch, Ref. TY.300.WNNBL, the signed black dial with blue hour markers, subsidiary dial and date aperture, surrounded by a rotating world cities inner bezel, the signed case back detailed 'Limited Edition 008/100', case diameter 4.8cm, cased with guarantee booklet, dated '04/04/2023'.

A Roskopf nickel plated cased keyless wind open-faced gentleman's pocket watch with signed movement, the signed enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals, case diameter 4.4cm.
