A scarce Bendix Type 16928-1A aircraft autopilot control panel, of the type used in BAC 1-11 airliners, Serial No. 5101010, height 7.5cm, width 29cm (some faults, some later applied white paint).

A late 19th/early 20th century brass Merryweather type fireman's helmet with dragon decorated comb cresting, applied badge with crossed axes and leather lined interior, height 26cm.

[probably Royal Flying Corps], together with a late Victorian Volunteer Medical Staff Corps swagger stick, a Second World War period Mk III Navigational Computer, a collection of cloth and other military badges, a group of five First World War period Royal Flying Corps embroidered silk postcards, a collection of R.A.F. and other dance cards and a silk postcard, mounted in a frame, and a Remington bayonet.

A group of three First World War period recruitment posters, including 'Why aren't You in Khaki? You'll be wanted. Enlist at once.', 75cm x 49cm, all within wood frames with perspex.

A mid-20th century military side drum, painted with the badge of the 3rd Royal Anglian Regiment and later sympathetically converted to a coffee table and applied with a plaque engraved 'Presented to B/M F. Cockcroft on his retirement', diameter of glass top 56cm. Provenance: Bandmaster (WO1) Frank Cockcroft began his service in 1946 when he enlisted with the Royal Armoured Corps, then transferred to the Royal Anglian Regiment. There he began as a band boy and worked to eventually become Bandmaster. In 1964 he conducted the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Frank retired in 1968 and subsequently died in 2002.

A First World War period bronze memorial plaque, detailed ‘Alfred George Carver’, within a carved oak frame. Note: Alfred Carver served as a musician in the Royal Marine Band on H.M.S Monmouth, died 1st November 1914 and is recorded on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial.
