A late Regency/early Victorian parquetry specimen top centre table, probably by S. Jamar, the octagonal tip-top veneered in various woods with a geometric design, raised on a gilt composition stem and a triform base, the stem block stamped 'S. Jamar', height 77cm, width 83cm. Note: the firm S. Jamar specialised in furniture making in the French manner. Located in 29 Wardour Street, London, in 1818, he also began trading in Liverpool from 1819.
