An extremely rare Corieltavi, Lat Ison base core gold plated stater 40-50 AD, obverse with central tramline frieze and inscribed 'Lat Ison', part rosettes and wreath fragments to fields, reverse with lunate and pellet-form horse, tablet above (edge losses, discolouration). Provenance: found on farmland close to the River Trent, Lincolnshire, 1996; recorded with the Ashmolean Museum, Ref. CD1 07 2334.
