A Chinese polished bronze tripod censer and stand, mark of Xuande but probably late Ming/early Qing dynasty, the compressed trilobed body raised on three tapered legs, beneath a waisted neck and galleried rim cast with a pair of upright ropetwist loop handles, cast six-character mark to base, height 9cm, rim diameter 10.3cm, the stand modelled in the form of overlapping flower petals, total height 12cm, total weight 866.6g.
