"A pair of Hale Thomson silvered Varnish Patent glass beakers, circa 1850, of gently flared cylindrical shape on circular feet, decorated with fruiting vine, disc mark to bases, height 10cm, together with a similar Hale Thomson silvered inkwell decorated with flowers and leaves, a green Varnish glass footed bowl, height 10cm, and a carafe decorated with flowers and leaves, applied 'P' disc to base, height 19cm (minor faults). Provenance: from the collection of John and Poppy Stallebrass."
