"A carved crackle glass vase with ormolu mount, probably French, late 19th/early 20th century, of pale amber tint, the U-shaped body with internal striations of lime green, turquoise and brown, the exterior carved with a repeating simple scroll pattern, the ormolu mount of spreading circular shape pierced with fruit and leaves amidst scrolling tendrils, flanked by a pair of upright supports with matching fruit and foliate detail, unmarked, total height 23.3cm. Provenance: from the collection of John and Poppy Stallebrass."
