A Meissen figure group allegorical of agriculture, late 19th century, depicting the goddess Ceres holding a sheaf of wheat, accompanied by three putti, one asleep, one with a tilling machine, the other with a basket of flowers on his head, raised on a naturalistic rocky base with gilt enriched scroll moulded detail, underglaze blue crossed swords mark to base and incised 'D 3', height 18cm (faults).
