A pair of Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain vases, mid to late 19th century, each shouldered tapering body painted with opposing figural panels, reserved against a ground of birds amidst peonies and fruit, the similarly decorated flared neck applied with chilong to shoulders and Buddhistic lion and cub handles, height 44.5cm (one with chip and hairline to rim).
