TRELAWNY, Maud (illustrator). – Aubrey HOPWOOD. The Bunkum Book: A Topsy Turvy Tale. London & New York, Frederick Warne & Co., 1900. Oblong folio (230 x 299mm.) 30 full-page colour illustrations. (Mild toning.) Original blue cloth-backed pictorial boards (lightly rubbed). Note: scarce. Hopwood was a lyricist for musical comedies on the London stage. In 1886, with Henry Clarke, he wrote the lyrics for the musical of Alice in Wonderland- under the guidance of Lewis Carroll.
