BINDINGS. – William SHAKESPEARE. [The Works.] London: Humphrey Milford at the Oxford University Press, 1931-1932. 3 vols., 8vo (184 x 115mm.) 3 frontispieces, tissue-guards. (Toning, crease to title of ‘Tragedies’.) Near contemporary full tree calf, red and green morocco lettering pieces to the spines, gilt turn-ins, g.e. (lightly rubbed extremities). – And a further five volumes (including, bound by Riviere, Helen Gardner’s ‘Art Through the Ages’, [1959], 8vo, and, both in full tree calf, ‘The Complete Works of Geoffrey Chaucer’, 1913, 8vo, and ‘The Poetical Works of Longfellow’, 1925, 8vo) (8).
