A very rare Iran Muhammad Ali Shah silver Medal for Loyalty, obverse with bust of the Shah surrounded by trophies of arms and legend to border, reverse with lion of Persia wielding sabre with sun behind within wreath border and surmounted with Qasar crown, diameter 48mm. Note: these medals, generally quite crude in appearance, were struck during the bombardment of the Majlis and were presented to loyal soldiers.
