A mid-20th century plaster cast copy of the 'Chatsworth Apollo' head, taken directly from a type cast held by the British Museum, finished in yellow aged colouring, height 31cm, together with a display stand. Note: this plaster cast was commissioned by Mrs Edward Halliday with permission from the British Museum in around 1960 and produced by The Morris Singer Company. The lot comes with correspondence with both the British Museum and The Morris Singer Company.
