A late 19th century French gilt brass and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate with Achille Brocot maker's mark, the porcelain circular dial with Arabic hour numerals reserved against a silvered ground, painted and gilt with butterflies and flowers and detailed 'T.J. Paris', the case with urn surmount and foliate finials, the case front inset with a porcelain panel of blue tits and blossoming branch on a silvered ground, the rectangular base with silvered and gilt foliate border, on toupie feet, height 35.5cm, with pendulum.
