An early 20th century military side drum relating to Drummer W.R. Ball, 3rd Pals White City Regiment, the sides painted naively with battle honours and crest of the Machine Gun Corps and dated '1914', diameter 37cm, possibly painted later in celebration (overall distressed condition).
