An early 19th century percussion pocket pistol by Ketland & Co, London, with steel turn-off barrel, barrel length 4.2cm, brass locks and body, engraved with trophies of arms, sliding safety, folding trigger and one-piece flat-sided wooden grip with pokerwork decoration and initialled 'J.S' (probably an old conversion from flintlock, action works at half and full cock, overall evidence of old restoration, overall wear, abrasion to brass locks).
