A fine early 19th century percussion belt or overcoat pistol by Wilkinson & Son, London, with octagonal steel barrel, barrel length 10cm, foliate engraved steel lock and hammer, sliding safety, belt clip, pull-out swing-over steel captive ramrod and finely chequered carved wood grip with inset silver cartouche and steel butt plate with hinged trapdoor (action works at half and full cock).
