AUTOGRAPH, ROYALTY. A royal Christmas card from 1992 signed by Princess Diana and dedicated ‘Dearest Mary, Fondest love from Diana’ the front with two gilt crowns, with opposing mounted photograph of Prince William and Prince Harry, 20.5cm x 15cm. Provenance: the Hon. Mary Cynthia Burke Roche (1934-2023), aunt of Diana Spencer, purchased by the current vendor at Lawrence’s Auctioneers of Crewkerne in March 2024. Note: in December 1992 Prime Minister John Major announced to the House of Commons that the Prince and Princess of Wales were separating.
