A collection of approximately 130 postcards of military interest including postcards titled ‘Captured German Torpedo from Submarine’, ‘Georgi Zhukov’, ‘Ivan Konev’, ‘The Thunderbird Anti-Aircraft Guided Missile’, ‘Field-Marshal Sir Bernard Montgomery’ and ‘President Poincare at the front with the troops’, together with 4 photographs of anti-aircraft guns and a small group of letters and army field postcards relating to William Charles Linstead, East Surrey Regiment, as well as related notes made in 2005.
