A mid-18th century 2¾ inch pocket globe by Nathaniel Hill, the maker's cartouche inscribed 'A New Terrestrial Globe by Nath. Hill, 1754', the twelve gores printed and hand coloured, showing 'Unknown Parts' to North America and lacking the west coast of Australia, housed within its original fishskin case, the interior with similarly coloured celestial gores (crack around the North Pole).
