An early 19th century Continental walnut and marquetry inlaid fall front escritoire, the front and sides decorated in ivory with horsemen, dogs, deer, monkeys and other animals, fitted with four drawers and a fall front enclosing a fitted interior, height 145cm, width 93cm, depth 40cm. Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.
