A late 19th/early 20th century Indian silver four-piece tea service by C. Krishniah Chetty of Bangalore, comprising teapot, hot water pot, milk jug and sugar bowl and cover, each repoussé decorated with bands of deities within arched framing, stamped 'C. Krishniah Chetty Bangalore Silver' to bases, total weight 1932g, height of hot water pot 21.8cm. Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.
