Hondio, Amsterdam: engraved map of the world on a hemispherical projection, with hand colouring, the borders decorated with allegorical representations of the four elements and four portrait medallions of Caesar, Ptolemy, Mercator and Jodocus Hondius, 39cm x 55cm, within a gilt frame.
