A James Powell & Sons Whitefriars threaded ribbed shallow bowl, 1930s, pattern No. 7192, blue tinted and threaded on sea green, diameter 32cm, together with a similar example, sea green threaded on amber, diameter 29cm, a Whitefriars blue cased vase of flattened barrel shape, designed by Geoffrey Baxter, pattern No. 9431, an amber optic moulded vase, height 20cm, and another cased glass vase. Provenance: from the collection of John and Poppy Stallebrass.
