A large Meissen porcelain figure group of six gardeners, late 19th century, originally modelled by Acier circa 1769, with a central tree surmounting rockwork surrounded by six figures, including one resting her eyes, another with a bird cage and a third with a bird, the edge of the circular base moulded with overlapping circles and foliate medallions picked out in gilt, crossed swords mark in underglaze blue to base with incised shape No. D93 and impressed '35', height 44cm (faults, losses and restoration).
