A Chinese blue and white porcelain jar, Kangxi period, of stoutly potted ovoid form, painted with a uniform design of lotus flowerheads and scrolling tendrils, beneath a short neck with foliate band, height 41.7cm (faint star hairline crack to body), together with a carved and pierced hardwood domed cover (damaged and repaired).
