A Chinese Canton export lacquer brisé fan, mid-19th century, the guards and twenty-six sticks decorated to each side in gilt with shield shaped and circular foliate filled panels on a ground of fruiting vines above oval monogram panel, length 26.6cm (minor faults). Note: property of a West Sussex private collector.
