A Chinese Canton lacquer tea caddy, early to mid-19th century, of canted corner rectangular form, the hinged lid and bombé sides painted and gilt with birds and flowers on a brown ground, the interior fitted with a pewter canister and cover, height 9.5cm, length 18cm, with key.
