After Charles Robinson Sykes - a Rolls-Royce 'Spirit of Ecstasy' nickel plated car mascot, probably made for the Phantom II, circa 1929, the domed base inscribed 'R.R. Ltd 6.2.11', the underside of the wings marked 'Trade Mark Reg' and 'Reg US Pat. OFF', height of figure 14cm, mounted on a turned wooden plinth. Note: the majority of Phantom I mascots are marked 'Rolls-Royce Ltd Feb 6 1911', but in 1929 when Phantom II was introduced, the shape of the base, on all mascots, and the lettering around it changed to 'R.R Ltd 6.2.11'.
