An extremely rare Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency engraved steel die plate with portrait vignette of King Fahd, probably a test die for use on 1980s issue banknotes, but perhaps changed (some light active rust to peripheral edges, probably from storage). Provenance: from the personal archive of the late Alan Dow, master banknote engraver to Bradbury Wilkinson & Co and the Bank of England.
