A late 19th century French gilt lacquered brass carriage timepiece, the circular dial with black Roman hour numerals, the pierced and engraved gilt fretwork surround decorated with griffons and scrolling foliage, the case with reeded swing handle above fluted corner columns and bevelled glass panels, on turned feet, height 15.8cm, together with a French brass cased diminutive carriage timepiece, height 8.5cm.
