LOT 1607
Two South German faience pewter mounted jugs (Enghalskrug), late 17th/18th century, with spiral moulded bodies painted in blue, the first with a circular panel depicting a biblical scene, against a ground of dense flowers and foliage, the second with a planter of flowers flanked by large leaves, against a ground of flowers and foliage, each with ropetwist handle and pewter mounted foot, both 35cm high, together with a similar smaller example painted with a panel depicting a bird in a tree in a garden setting, height 27cm (handle repaired).
