Two Meissen porcelain cups, covers and stands, circa 1800, Marcolini period, both with cobalt blue ground, the first painted en grisaille with classical figures within gilt ribbon and foliate frames, angular handle, the cover with laurel wreath finial, the second painted in sepia with a classical figure to the saucer and a sleeping maiden and her dog to the cup within similar gilt framing, the cover with bud finial, underglaze blue, impressed and gilt painted marks to bases, diameter of saucers 13.4cm (some faults and repairs).
