LOT 3233
ILLUMINATED LEAF. [A late 15th- early 16th century illuminated leaf from an Antiphonary, in Latin from the Brölemann collection, France.] Single leaf (484 x 355mm.) A vari-coloured historiated initial of the Pentecost, a further four initials, three illuminated, staves in red and black and elaborate floral border with leaves and berries. (Slight insect-damage to right-hand border, two margins trimmed). Note: with thanks to Peter Kidd for his assistance in cataloguing this lot.
