First edition, with an a.l.s. mounted on the front pastedown and gift inscribed by the author on the front-free endpaper, 8vo (222 x 137mm.) Photographic illustrations. (Toning.) Original green cloth (spine ends rubbed). – And a further thirty-four volumes, mainly 19th century literature (including [D. Richmond’s] ‘Eildon Manor, a Tale for Girls’, 1863, 8vo, and Ameila B.
