A scarce First World War period copper trench art style double-aperture photograph frame, marked 'Falkland Isles, Dec 8 1914' and 'HMS Invincible', with textured borders and decorated with foliate branches, the centre detailed with a penguin, 17.5cm x 27.5cm. Note: probably made in commemoration of a decisive sea battle between British Vice Admiral Sir Doveton Sturdee and his adversary Admiral Graf von Spee.
