A rare First World War period steel medal die for the United States Victory Medal, together with a struck brass medal, a black and white photograph of the mascot dog of Co. F., 117 Engineers, 42nd (Rainbow) Division, wearing a tabard and a United States Victory Medal with bars, and a post-First World War period booklet, 'History of the 42nd The Rainbow Division' by Walter B. Wolf, printed by Rand, McNally & Co, New York, giving the written history of the group and its service during the Second World War.
