A Victorian 1845 pattern officer's sword by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, with single-edged fullered blade, blade length 83cm, personalized with the initials 'HHP', purportedly for General Peterson, and with foliate decoration and crowned 'VR' cypher, steel gothic hilt with pierced decoration and carved chequered grip, with gilt brass mounted stitched leather scabbard with twin suspension loops (some old rust and active rust to blade, some deeper areas of pitting, scabbard chape bent and damaged, some breakdown to leather).
