A mid-19th century Beaumont-Adams 54-bore five-shot double-action revolver with octagonal sighted barrel, barrel length 11cm, engraved 'Thomas Horsley, Gun Maker, York', the frame engraved 'Adams Patent No 28499R' and 'B 12836', with safety stop, Adams Patent rammer arm (probably replaced) and chequered wood grip, with an associated case, probably once a cutlery canteen box.
