A collection of early 20th century letters from Sir Kenneth Skelton Anderson KCMG to J.D.B. Campbell Esq of 25 Ainslie Place, Edinburgh, in regards to obtaining land and property at Loch Striven head, just prior to the outbreak of the First World War. Note: later research shows Sir Kenneth Anderson (1866-1943) bought part of the Cambell estate circa 1912, though lost interest when his sons were killed during the war. Sir Kenneth was chairman of the Orient Shipping Line. Provenance: the property of a Hampshire private collector.
