A rare early 20th century novelty match vesta of shotgun cartridge form, the brass percussion cap, detailed 'The Sportsman's Match Box, Reg. Pat.', over a nickel plated brass body, the end cap with striker textured finish, length 4cm. Provenance: the property of a Hampshire private collector.
