A group of fourteen fine mid to late 19th century gun chamber brushes with lacquered brass and nickel fittings and turned wood or polished horn handles, including examples by G. & J.W. Hawksley, W. Evans Pall Mall, Cogswell & Harrison London and James Dixon, length of longest 19cm (some caps missing). Provenance: the property of a Hampshire private collector.
