A mid to late 19th century double-barrelled percussion shotgun by W. Howell, London, with Damascus steel barrels, barrel length 69.5cm, foliate locks and hammers and scrolling steel trigger guard, full-stocked with chequered grip and ebonized ramrod with brass tip. Provenance: the property of a Hampshire private collector.
