A Chinese famille verte black ground porcelain vase, Kangxi period, of lobed hexagonal baluster form, painted with Buddhistic lions, pine trees, rocks and flowers, height 25cm (hairline to rim), with wood cover, together with a Chinese blue and white plate, mark of Chenghua but Kangxi period, painted with a figural scene, diameter 21.6cm (hairline crack and rim restoration), and a similar brushpot of waisted cylindrical form, painted with figures in a lakeside landscape, underglaze blue pseudo six-character mark of Chenghua to base, height 13.5cm.
