An impressive Chinese cloisonné enamel and copper floor-standing censer and cover, mark of Qianlong but probably early 20th century, of large proportions, the swollen cylindrical body on three lion mask shouldered scroll legs terminating in paw feet, below a pair of pierced upright scroll handles and a domed cover with pierced panels and Buddhistic lion finial, decorated all-over with a polychrome design of lotus and scrolling tendrils on a black ground surrounding yellow and red shou medallions, bats and archaistic scroll bands, applied six-character mark plaque to rim, height 166cm (minor faults and losses).
